BESPOKE HOME BUILDERS

The People That Make Us

Patrick John Lomax

Founder and Owner

Founder and Owner of Orchard House Properties, and Fine Artwork with 35 years’ experience as Managing Director, sustaining consistent profitability and ongoing business development.

I set up Chelsea Frames, initially in London, now based in Cheshire with 8 full time employees primarily refurbishing hotels, public houses, restaurants with artwork. My clients include Hilton Group, Brunning and Price Group (TRG), Four Seasons, Balls Brothers, Fullers, Young’s, Marriott Hotels and Gino D’ Campo’s restaurant chain.

My vision for Orchard House Properties Development was to develop bespoke and individual new build homes and with expert planning advice available, individualising each plot design with the homeowner, should they wish. At Orchard House Properties we believe this is a unique concept and one which has to date excited potential enquirers.

The team of architectural and 3D CAD designers are based in the same Malpas office which acts for the Mount View Development, enabling interested enquirers to come in, see and input into virtual tours and design layouts of the properties. It is exciting an ambitious and gets me out of bed every morning!

My hobbies are skiing, sailing, shooting, fishing and the arts. I have three children and I am married.

Tom Hill

Architectural Design Technologist

A nostalgic meander into my background brings back fond memories of enthusiastic learning and engaged enhancement of my natural creative flair.

Having studied Construction Management for three years at West Cheshire College, I further graduated from Glyndwr University in 2014 with a BSc (hons) in Architectural, Design and Technology.

My personal pursuits include swimming; I have yet to follow in the hallowed footsteps of the great Tom Daly!

In addition, afterwork activities are punctuated by regular gym visits, marathon reading sessions, and most importantly, quality time with my wonderful family.

Going back to your interest in reading my profile, I will delay no longer. Working at Orchard House Properties is exceptionally rewarding, in the knowledge I am playing a significant role in designing much more than simply a “bricks and mortar” structure.

I have supported many of my clients from the “conception-to-completion” process of building their dream home.

My vision incorporates creating a luxurious abode, one which meets their expectations. Through the amalgamation of illustrations and detailed discussions from both client and designer, a successful model of a desirable, purpose built home materialises.

My primary objective is my clients will be delighted to move into their impressive home.

Ben Garnett

Architectural Design Technician

My family background in architecture and the trades led me to complete a BSc in Architectural Design Technology. After leaving university I invested my time into self-development, gaining planning permission on a select few barns and small extensions in North Wales and Lancashire. I joined OHPDL in 2015 and have continued to work on a variety of housing development projects in North Wales, Lancashire and most recently, Mount View in Cheshire.

As a keen traveller, I have developed a taste for a variety of architectural styles from across Europe and Northern Africa. Specifically, the Sagrada Familia-Barcelona, the Guggenheim-Bilbao and the Harpa Concert Hall in Reykjavik. This has given me an enthusiasm to create beautiful spaces with a fine attention to detail. I pride myself on combining this with practicality, simplicity and usability.

I also enjoy spending my time playing and captaining a variety of sports including football, golf and badminton.
